Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Application

Danny's Farm relies heavily on the support we receive from our Volunteers. Below are some examples of how you can help:

  • Fundraise for things on our wish list (call or email to find our current needs)
  • Volunteers for special events
  • Gathering free produce and goods from local grocery markets to feed our animals.
  • Scout projects (Eagle Scout Project, Gold Project, etc.)
  • Help with our Specialty Autism Afterschool Program, or our Extended Year Program that runs when school's out, Spring, Summer and Winter breaks.

If you are interested in helping with any of the above here are our requirements:

  • All applicants are required to meet with our staff and fill out application forms
  • ll Volunteers must sign our Liability Insurance Form. For applicants under the age of
18 yrs, a parent or legal guardian must sign our Liability Form.
  • All volunteers can be added to our e-mail list. When we have events, we send out a general e-mail and any volunteers that are interested can sign up.

If you would like to specifically volunteer for our Specialty Autism Program S.A.P (both afterschool and extended year) there are a few requirements:

  • •  Minimum age 14 yrs
  • •  If you are over 18 yrs you are legally required to have fingerprint clearance to volunteer in the program. This will need to be done at your own expense (Approx. $90).
  • •  All Volunteers must sign our Liability Insurance Form. For applicants under the age of 18 yrs, a parent or legal guardian must sign our Liability Form.
  • •  All applicants are required to come in and fill out our Application Form and meet with the Program Director. This will be a short meeting for her to evaluate your ability to volunteer in this very special program.
